Default Simplicity and Common Cents

Some or many of you may or may not visit from time to time
other hunting/archery websites like AT the black hole.

I do, have done for many years, mostly watch and read, seldom reply or post.

I don't need to beat myself on the head with a hammer to have fun.

That's why I have my "home page" in my browser set to AO instead of AT.

Important to the subject of my posting here is to see if you all see the same
as I see "trends or things going on today".

I think you all do just as I do.

AT with a slogan "Archers Helping Archers" archery website has gone "big box store" with it's classifieds.

Lost most all of the long time memberships of volunteer individual specialists
in the fields of major bow manufactures .. Mathews, Hoyt, PSE, Bear, BowTec.
These people offered free help and advice to the best of their skill and knowelage without any demand for money or fame.

Yea, I know, I should have posted the above to AT on their site to let them
know.

If any of you have been to the AT site in the last 6 months you would agree
it's a useless post to them at this point.

Back in the day (6-7 years ago) even on AT with all it's bad black cloud
rumors it did have many people on there that where really great people.
Who offered honest help as best they can.

Just they other day I can only count 2 who are still there, Padgett and Nuts&bolts who still try to offer help and honesty.

The rest are gone, and there where many before.

My point here being, AT like AO are both great archery, hunting outdoors
websites. Big diff. is Adims, MODS, Members, make or break it as time goes on.

Change is sometimes needed, sometimes good, sometimes simply the wrong
thing to do.

Balance work/play in a persons being, or a project or a venture over a lifetime..Is the best of all worlds, what we all seek to find all our lives but few ever know.

:-)

This is a 3 part posting to get to the point of Simplistic bear with me.

Part 2..

An example of the argument of simplistic is the Argument you see posted
about the hair pulling, eye gouging gut punching posts and replies about
"The lead brick Mathews Bows", the "My carbon Hoyt is 5/8 onces ligheter"
"My 2018 Bowtec is half the weight fully setup", "The Bear Lumitae weighes
4.7 lbs."

None of these idiots above mentions they have like me, a spot hogg fast eddie, or an HHA that weighes 18 ownces off the shelf.

16 onwces to the lb. Simplicity !

The idiots in the above "my bow is lighter" paragragh jump on a ban waggon
bash others and say I ADD weight to my back Stab to counter act the top
heavy front / right side of my bow.. fixed .. Add more weight.

NONE OF THESE IDIOTS GIVE A THOUGHT TO .. TAKING WEIGHT OFF the
sight we all like any use.

Instead .. your bow is bad it's heavey, your overthinking just add more weight on the other side.

The above is an example of how simple the fix can be and how few can
take the time to think about it.

Part 3 .. Common Cents.

Most people are so broke they can't afford it.

The rest are on drugs.

Had to leave you on a happy note, we all know and understand
right from wrong, and reconise when we see it or don't.

More or less posted this to let you all know I seen over the years gone
by AO and the people in Alberta are very much like me.

Thank you all for your support and conversations we have had,
truly as close as family to me.

Maybe one day .. June I can't stand the cold .. I could get up there
fly fish, drink a beer at the inn and just get to spend a sunny afternoon
tie some flyies, I my mind.

I just read this morning about the ice over posts in the fishing section.

You'll never know how much I'ld love to strap on the Carharts and go out
for the night in ice shanty on Cove Lake with the rest.

Yea I know Cove lake is dead today, walleye are far and few between.

When ever you all remember me think of Gordon Lightfoot, that is how I
will always remember you.
