Default work smart not hard. any ideas/thoughts?

Hey there!
Does anyone out there actually air skin their coyotes to reduce the strains of skinnng them with brute force? Skinning 5-10 yotes after a long day of work and then 4-5 hours checking the snares is quite the way to top off the day. I'm just thinking that someone might have something up his/her sleeve.

That sounds amazing! Got any pics? I'm more of a visual learner.

A whitetail skinned with a truck is usually an opened skin, slit up the belly to the throat, slit to each leg and the skin is pulled off from the head down to the tail. A coyote skin is cased and skinned from the tail to the head. Would be nice if a guy could use a truck on coyotes. A guy could skin a dozen coyotes in an hour.

A guy can skin 20 in an hour if you are skinning by hand and are moving, and working with the right bunch of coyotes. Winches actually slow that down to 12-14 per hour, but the winch never gets tired.

Goosejerky I got a base made for the floor of the garage. I have a winch at the ceiling end and can skin useing it but like Marty says it is slower. I gave up using it. If you want it I can sell it to you for cheap. I find skinning by hand it should take you less than 10 min a coyote. If your running 5 hrs to ceck baits get them closer to home and not so far. I know you got some long runs and there is plenty closer to you if you can get the permission.

Default 20 coyotes per hour?!?!?!

I must be doing something wrong because I'm lucky if I can get through 3 in an hour! Sure the first onč could take about 10 mins but the second 20 mins and the third 30 mins.... I'm about 5'10" 175 on a heavy day... I really have to work these jumbo dogs to get the hide off! If I could do 10 an hour with a winch I'd be a very happy man!
