Gopher Shoot

I am thinkn of putting a lil Gopher Shoot, would anyone be interested in a day of Gopher hunting, I have about 12 quarters of canola that need to be be decimated for Gophers. So if anyone is interested, in doing so and to get together for a Day of Gopher shooting , give me a call. All I ask is to use these calibers, 17, 22 up to 223, nothing bigger as we have livestock all with in a mile of each Patch of Gophers

I am thinkning the weekend of the 23rd and 24th as the rest if this week looks pretty wrotten with Rain, will have to play it out with the weather

I'm good for me and a buddy, schedules permitting. Are you thinking of a one-day shoot, or over a week-end?

Also there would be camping Available on the ranch Here. Maybe we can make it a meet and Greet AO Gopher Shoot. ( and BTW This IS a DRY CAMP) No Alcohol Allowed On the ranch.

I resemble that remark!

I was just thinking that it'd be fun to swing by and meet some more folks on my way back from the usual killing grounds but if I'm on the menu well.... I'll be taking the long way home and in my helmet and body armour to boot.

Oh... and for the record...I'm more of a flax kind of guy...

Well looks to be lots of interest ,, so if folks could let me know they are in, drop me a message,, and If you would like to get here the evejning before that would be fine, there is lots of space for camping here. and will set up some sort of Camp fire set up. for the meet and greet and the like.

And I should Put this Out there ,, that the MODS are as well invited to come partake. would be great to meet the Powers that be in the AO world

Gopher shoot is in great form today. they are thick and definately getting a cleaning, Thanks For Lotar To show and assist with the shoot, alot of great fun.

So far this weekend 1 fellow showed ,,took out alot of gophers off a 40 acre peice,,I myself put over 4 boxes of shells into gophers. and maybe some one wants to come next weekend,, they are definately thick and need thining bad. so offer still stands

Archery is good anywhere here, and the Shoot today was fantastic,, over a 1000 rounds put into the pesky varmints today,, and just makn a dent in them, Thanls again for Lotar And his family for coming and enjoying the shoot.

Sounds like this weekend is still on.
They just worked the area because weather permitted.

Makes sense... the main idea is to get rid of gophers as soon a possible....not give us a target practice opportunity.

Anyway...it seems there will be plenty left standing by the weekend.

Yes just to clarify i posted for next weekend,, however the weather cooperated this weekend as well, so had a shoot this weekend. But is still on for next weekend. Trust me, there are enough gophers to go around if this weekend was any indication.
