Default Castleridge Lunch Restaurants Recommendations

Have to take my stepson for some nuclear imaging today at Mayfair in Castleridge, Calgary and have a few hours to kill after the injections and before the scan.
Thinking lunch and then poking around Princess Auto.

Any good places for lunch in that area?

There are a bunch close to princess auto. Chillis, catus club, cattle baron, moxie's, white spot, earls, joe's, all normal fast food. These aren't in castle ridge, but off of Barlow and area around princess auto. Swiss chalet in falcon ridge.

Omega would be seeking something aside from the pedestrian chain restaurants, one quick check of his post history and you'll get the picture; he's a foodie.

When I'm up there I hit Burger King

Well. BK it is then.
I know it's probably a longshot- But any good Asian restaurants in the NE?

I developed the BBQ pork program for Wonton King and have soup for life there. But I hate to use it unless I am alone.

There is one I think called the something sweet house - kind of "hole in the wallish" which is not a bad thing in my books!!

Default Edo of Japan

It is right beside the CIBC Bank on Castle ridge drive across the road from Cowboys.

I think it is pretty good.

I can provide great non-chain recommendations for various types of Italian food, authentic Chinese (Dim Sum or by the plate), great pub food, Vietnamese or New Age Fusion, all within a ten minute drive of where you will be. What is it you want to eat.

Since you asked specifically about Asian, Golden Central Chinese on the north East Corner of Mcknight and Centre street has been outstanding for the past 5 years.

For Superb Italian Reas, 431, 41 Ave NE, jsut across the street from home hardware, but you will need reservations at lunch or for Dinner as the plcae is always packed.

Hopefully one of these two hits the mark, otherwise PM me for alternate choices.
