Default Anyone owned a fixed power spotting scope?

Whats your opinion of fixed power telescopic spotting scopes? Swarovski makes a nice 30x50 but pricey. Wondering if anyone has owned and used others on mountain game.

I have a spacemaster (yes I know it is not a swaro)had a variable and fixed lenses 12x,,22x ,35x, 65x and 15-45X never used the variable mostly used the 22x wide angle the most the 12x was a bit to small the others were terribly distorted.
But more/better glass may give you better results

Trades I would interested in:
- Sightron rifle scopes, 4.5x14x42mm or 4x16x42mm
especially! with the HHR reticle. (no duplex pls.)
- older 6x fixed scopes with fine X or target dot.

Fixed power is old technology. Amazes me what the old timer did with what they had. I started out with one of those little Spacemasters, nowadays you can't give them away. 30x ? Come on.

I am interested in your old Spacemaster if you want to depart with it.

I use an older Leupold 25x50 and like it. I don’t hunt sheep however...

Used a Bushnell Sentry fixed 20 power for years. Believe it was made in the mid fifties as I can track ownership back to then. I acquired it in 67 and used it till 2000 and now being used by my daughter. For the time... the glass was acceptable.. hunted antelope, deer moose and elk . I got my game... it must have been ok.....
