This guy is now thieving around the Wainwright area. A friend just got some of his belongings back from the RCMP in Wainwright. Jason Emter is one of the ring leaders.

I'm curious why wasn't the fuel card cancelled shortly after being stolen unless it was in a vehicle that was parked for a long time. I would never leave a card of any sort in a vehicle.
Anyways this is the kind of anarchy Mr. Socks likes.

Ever watch a show called trailer park boys?

Even if this guy straightens out. What does he do for a living? Would you hire him?
Maybe he can change his name? What would he put on resume?

April 2024 and he is still at it.

https://www.wetaskiwintimes.com/news...rime-offenders

And just google his name. A long list of convictions year after year for the same crap. He could keep his thread current forever it seems with Canada's catch and release system.

Early this year I was talking to a local farmer who after 2 years was still trying to get some justice for a major arson on his property from a local druggie. While he was at law courts in the big city he had an interesting discussion that in rural areas the crown prosecutor and the detachment head don't mind having the repeats around as it can be used to ask for more manpower and funding. Sure enough a few weeks later there is a spiel by the gendarme in charge to the local town council as to how they know the exact number of locals that cause the major problems and that they are short staffed by at least 2 and need more funding. So the rank and file are probably totally frustrated but higher ups see it as an opportunity.

Some low lifes broke into my wife's vehicle and 4 others in the Rocky hospital parking lot at 8:30 am last Thursday. They hit several others in town and at least one participant of the highway clean up. One card was used in Bentley, so I wouldn't surprised if it was this same guy after he was released on bail and he headed back to Edmonton after the break and enters.

They didn't get anything of value from our vehicle but will cost us >$600 for a new window.
