Default I hate weatherby cartridges and calibers...For the record!

I'm bored so here we go, I hate weatherby cartriges and their rifles for the record because their over priced for their quality. I shoot a Tikka and It is less money and IMHO better quality. I feel better having said what I had to say, Sorry if I Offended anyone. Feel free to place your opinion.

Obviously Savage rifles are superior to any Weatherby.

I don't have a problem with either the rifles or the cartridges made by Weatherby. I just don't see the need to spend the dollars on them when there are much more practical options available to acheive the same or better result. Not real fond of the way they look either but no doubt when guy behind the gun does his part they work just fine.Mearly my opinion and its worth what you paid for it.

ill play the other side of the fence i feel weatherby cartridges are better in all similar offerings but they are far more expensive for the slight advantage they add. a 300 win mag will do the exact same job a 300 wby does as well as a 300RUM does the same job a 30-378 does the only caliber that i will give real props for is the 257 i dont feel there is anyhting else in that area that compares

Their application for a business permit was denied because of poor craftsmanship.

The arguement to the .257 is the 25-06, Or even the 25-06 AI Cheaper and only a couple feet per second slower?

Savages are like mopeds you don't want to be caught by your friends with either one of them

I would shoot my 12VSS all day long before taking a shot at all with my son's plastic vanguard. There is no comparison at all.

Darn. you guys just wrecked it for me.
I was out hunting with an oldtimer and he told me that this weather be fine for shooting deer.

DAMMMIT!

I just figured it out. He was talking to me... telling me that his Weatherby was fine for shooting deer!

And here I thought he was commenting on the SUNSHINE!

I argee My 338-378 was a lemon. I like the action but the barrel was junk, would shoot 2.5" on averge unlike my 300RUM that will shoot under .5" regularily and somtimes below 1/4 moa. way to much mulla to shoot as well. if they were less expensive I would think of buying one and rebarrelling it but its much easier to do the remington route.

I agree with you man, they are just far to expensive for me anyways, and they are less accurate then most rifles, i think it is more so that people can say my rifle costs much more then yours does, mine is better type deal.

Some of you guys really need to get a life.
Ok Tikka shooters, why pick on the Weatherby's? Have you forgotten the prices of Tikka's parent company Sako?

I will gladly put my Weatherby up to your Savage or Tikkas. Better yet I hope ALL OF YOU put your money where your mouth is and enter Dick284's Postal Match.

25-06 Ai? .264 win mag?

Id personally choose a .264wm or 25-06 over the .257 weatherby anyday as well as a 25-06. Why spend more on a gun, ammunition, and have to buy extra barrels, when u can do the same, and spend less? Weatherbys are braggin rights for insecure hunters, dont mean to offend anyone, just my opinion.
