Annexation causes loss of muzzle loader/shotgun and crossbow lands

Keep an eye out folks, if you enjoyed the Strathcona/Leduc season in the past in the blue area.

It's no longer Leduc County.

Not sure if it has ever been done before but could a city build up instead of out?

So I cant see the map too clear but Edmonton has annexed these lands? Or whats exactly happening?

Yes Edmonton annexed the blue portions from County of Leduc. So those blue portions are no longer eligible under the Strathcona deer tag once things are finalized. Leduc county just got a little smaller, as a result if you used to hunt those blue portions, this may affect you.

Dang that sucks. I didn't know that the area just east of Devon was eligible for shotgun or muzzleloader/crossbow use. What is the area classed as now "city of Edmonton" if so I imagine this will affect the use of bows as well?
