Just bring lunch to work with you 2 extra times and suddenly you have a scope with the glass coated on both sides instead of 1.
Did I miss a major advancement in the Redfield Revolution line or is it just Leupold sacrificing its one brand to push another?

IMO you are correct that for $20 price difference the VX1 is a better deal. It's called marketing. Bigger profit margin on the Redfield for someone, either the retailer, or Leupold, or the Canadian distributor.
The Korth Group is the exclusive authorised Canadian distributor for Leupold. They have the power to set prices and they do not do us any favours - we'd be a lot better off if Canadian retailers could deal with US distributors.
