In discussing with a few other birders, no one I know
Has gotten drawn on the first or second draw . There doesn't seem
to be much chatter about it either . Did they reduce the number of
Participants ? I wasn't to impressed with a couple of the sites we drew
but always had a good time . Who was lucky !

Not me. I missed the initial draw. Never saw or heard anything about it until a week after the closing date. No email from ACA advertising the hunt and only one small ad their mass emailing. Next time I guess I need to be more vigilant and mark it on my calendar. Hoping to go to Montana instead.

Same problem here. Used to get email notification that it was coming up. Didn't know till I saw it in a hunters magazine. Totally missed it this year which sucks cause I wanted to try my dog out.

I wasn't sure if the pup would be ready for this year, so I never even applied. Instead , I purchased raffle tickets for spots in 2017.

I was drawn for 3 spots, but unfortunately had to give them all up due to conflict with my class schedule. Wasn't even planning on going back to school when I applied for the draw.
