Gets my goat up when people slam SKS because of bad safety practices.. Anyways.. Enough has been said about that. Great post above this one. As firearm owners you should bloody know your guns before you even think about putting ammo in them and once ammo is in them standard safety rules apply. Leaving an unattended gun with live rounds in it should never happen.

To the poster who corrected me on the two shotguns thing for hunting I am very thankful. I can thank of a number of situations where a fellow might have two shotties but obviously it is illegal. Thank you for educating me and sorry for questioning it in the first place. Glad I did though. Learned something important as I could've easily been in violation some day. Apparently I wasn't the only one
