Default Adirondack

I currently have a Forbes 20B in 7-08 on order. But after seeing jack88's post I may cancel.
What do you think of the Kimber Adirondack (18")or the Montana (22")in 7-08 for a Sheep gun.

i think it would be great but you would probably have to import it. i talked to kimber a couple moths ago and so far its only been released into canada. as i mentioned in the other that other thread, getting your hands on a 7mm08 montana in canada might be pretty difficult. best of luck to you though!

p.s lots of shops told me they could order one in for me, but some also said they've had customers waiting a over a year plus from kimber

i custom loaded for a kimber mountain ascent in 270 win last summer. it came topped with a vx3 2.5-8.
barnes 130 tsx went into 1'' on the first load, and 5/8" for 3 shots with another 1/2 grain of 4350.
recoil was comparable to a 243, function was perfect in every way.
i would not hesitate to buy one of these guns if i was in the market.
i forgot to 'break in' the barrel, hope it starts to shoot ok in the future, lee
