Well i had 3 buddies come up from Calgary for a spring black bear hunt. They arrived late Thursday night and pulling into camp they got two flat tires...well they got settled into camp, had a nap and woke up the next morning. 2 of us went to town and got new tires for their truck while the other two guys hunted over the baits. After dealing with the tire issue Mike and i were able to squeeze in an evening hunt with no luck. The next morning we decided to try and spot and stalk with the bow. We managed to see 14 bears that day with a few successful stalks and some not as lucky. As the day was almost over we pull into camp to see a bear 200 yards from our tents. With only 15 minutes of legal light we do a fast pace stalk right at it. The bear busts us and mike immediately started to do a distress call with his mouth. This bear comes right back out and and makes it way towards us. With the low light and my camera in auto focus its not the greatest footage during the kill shot, but i was able to capture the majority of our day bear hunting. Heres the link to the video if you want to watch .
