was out last sunday.....fishing was very slow and there was more flood water than the week before. water must be coming up I guess, there was a foot of slush from just south of the ramp all the way to the big point
i went there last, last wkend 2 rainbows all less than 12inches. caught on jim's jig beetle imataion. last wkend caught a bull trout on the samething 4lb test. water so clear i could sightfish. It's good to see bull trout... hope their population bounces back.

You sure those weren't cutties? To the best of my knowledge they haven't stocked rainbows in years and they don't spawn in that lake. Could be wrong but that would be interesting if they were rainbows
Was there last thursday. No flood water by the outflow, only 6 inches of crusty snow, nice walking.
Very slow, only marked 4 fish from 730 -2:00. I was between 70-80 ft of water, all fish marked and my only one on came between 35-45 ft mark.

The lower lake had a wild population of rainbows i think they spawn in Boulton creek.
My uncle fishes the Kananaskis lakes a couple times a week and gets a few rainbows a year of all sizes from the lower lake.
