Default h 4831

When loading shells is there a difference in weight between H 4831 and H 4831sc? One book shows the same weight , but the jug shows a max load below what the book does.

I'm pretty sure they are the same and you can use the same data, the sc stands for short cut, so powder tricklers work better. Maybe someone can back me up on this?

Burn rate should be the same, but with all powders even the straight up H4831, if it is from a different lot appropriate caution should be used.

Just start low and work up. You should always be doing so anyway.

What book? The load on the jug is Hogdon's load with their listed components. The load in the book (whatever book that is) is using the components listed in the book.

Any info I have found says they are the same some say there is a slight difference but I trust hogdons. I worked up loads in my 6.5x284 and 300wm using h4831sc data for normal h4831 and the numbers have matched up but as with anything start low and work up
