I bought a iPhone 4s for $50. Replaced the cracked back for $10 and it works perfectly! He was kind of taken aback when I asked for a picture of his drivers license in case it was stolen or had a contract on it, which he claims it did not, but he obliged. It was not stolen, no contract or money owing. We now chat quite frequently, nice guy.

You can also ask for the original box. If it was stolen, they wouldn't have the box for it. You can also meet him at eg. the Telus Store, they can verify if it was stolen or not.

I've thrown the box away almost immediately on every single phone I've ever purchased.

Be careful if the seller is named Dean or Amanda using these numbers:
250-257-1127
587-298-4475
780-605-0277

He scammed me on some power engineering textbooks on kijiji. The other phone numbers are associated with his account and I have seen at least 5 cell phones advertised recently stating "need to sell quick" Also advertises possible fraudulent gift cards and escort services.

Based out of grande prairie area but may have moved
