Telus mobilty outage credit scam

Received a text message overnight advising that Telus Mobility was making a credit available to subscribers with respect to outages and service disruptions in Alberta and BC. Then directs you to press "C" to claim your credit at a bogus site. Pretty slick as our service is terrible even though I can see the cell tower from the back deck. Might catch a few with a bleary eyed morning read or some of the younger ones looking for a break on their bills.

I just checked my email I have 6 new scams just like everyday, nobody's giving anything away 90% of the senders email address's end with onmicrosoft.com. There's one born every minute and the scammers are looking for him.

Haha. Yes. But I didn't unpack entirely from them. Using Public Mobile for 3 or 4 years now.

I would bet the ones who think of these scams are getting paid 6 digit figures.
