Default Thanksgiving Day Bull

I got lucky yesterday.
Wake up5
Leave house 6
On the trail head 7:30
Slow walk in and some fresh snow
I am hunting alone
Round the corner and up the hill
Whoa there’s a moose
It’s a cow watch her for a while
Give out a cow call
Nothing….
Then couple soft grunts
Nothing….
I wait
Nothing…
Lose my patience and go to move
Oh s##t there’s the bull in his bed
I retreat and sneak back in
He stands 9:15am
Ka boom wack
Ka boom wack
He hits the ground
I gut him
Fast walk to the truck
Call the Calvary
2:30pm return to trail head
Three men and four horses
3:45 we are back to the bull
6:15 horses packed up
8 bags of meat heart tongue etc
7:15 back to the truck
12:00am hit the sack

Sweet & congrats, that's a nice bull. I have many a memory hunting on the Thanksgiving weekend and watching family take bull moose.
