Thanks everyone for all the positive words!

Next up: Eastern Alberta deer hunt with my kids. It’s gonna be one for the books. I’m loaded up with mule doe draw, supp. whitetail, and a general whitetail.

The boys (5 and 6) REALLY want to experience a successful hunt. Last year they were with me on a great open country stalk for a mulie. Hoping for some more fun action this November.

Great story and animal. The play by play is great to read through. You carry all who read it with you. Also, nice shooting, you sniper!!

Thank you for your wonderful story of your adventure. Your sons are very fortunate to have you for a Dad.... I'm sure that with your stories and early hunting experiences you are making some great hunting partners for the future. Well Done !

Congratulations on a fine moose. Great pics. Nice way to hunt and see beautiful country. Thank you very much for sharing the play by play & day by day accounting. This is a five star picture show and narrative worthy of popcorn and a re-read.

You write well. You should consider starting a yearly compilation of stories and pics of your outdoor experiences. In 5 or 10 years put the compilations between two hard covers and publish them.

That's awesome right there!

A hunt like that would be tied for the #1 spot on my bucket list.

What an excellent post! Thanks for sharing your story and pictures with us, I found it very entertaining and made me once again long to try a trip like this. Congrats on a great hunt and a great bull! AO needs more posts like this.

Default Bump This One Back Up

Back to the top for a great story and guy. It is awesome to have people who are willing to share stories and info here.
I have been able to see and document his ram hunt. Unfortunately that video likely won't be hitting the forum for reasons all sheep hunters know.
Great hunt buddy and way to stick it out to the last day. No Softies.

Thanks LJ. I have been lucky enough to be a part of four successful ram hunts. It took me 6 years of trying but I got my ram in 2019. Also got a ewe in 2017.

Since everyone loves pics, here are a couple. I did post about my ram hunt on this forum, but I’ll have to look up the link…
