Our family tent we use is on its last legs. It just fit 4 of us and the dog. Looking for something a touch bigger. Is a wall tent my only other option? A very small wood stove would be super nice to have. I see cabelas has some tents that accomodate wood stoves but the reviews are not great.
Just curious to hear from others on what they have.
The dog would be pi$$ed with that setup. When it gets cold and wet he always bails to the tent lol.
We use our tent for everything, camping, hunting etc. I cannot remember the brand off hand but our last trip ended wet. Its pretty worn, leaks alot now etc. It was a nice tent, decent amount of room and had a awning type front.
I’m pretty happy with our Selkirk spike tent from the canvas tent shop. Much quicker to set up than a typical wall tent. I have the 12/12 and it’s roomy for up to 4 people. The sewn in water proof floor is really nice too although it does make it abit heavier.

I wouldn’t worry about a wood stove. Buddy heater is safer and easier.
The tent sets up in literally 2minutes.
It was great when we used to love to travel.
Enjoy sleeping on the ground. First time you get a trailer, you’ll never go back.
