Default Specified Overabundant Species?

Was checking my hunting licenses today as I am thinking of doing a snow/ross goose trip this year

My migratory licence I used in fall is valid until March 10. The licence also states "Also valid until July 10 2022 for specified overabundant species"

I am assuming this is in refence to the Snow and ross goose population?

I cannot seem to even buy a migratory permit for the following year on government NR site - it seems to be only selling the same permit I already have.

Has anyone else bought a new migratory licence for the spring hunt?

your migratory from last year runs until the end of the bspring snow goose season .If you go buy a new license before July you are wasting your money

Your migratory from last fall is still valid for the spring snow goose hunt.
However, your 2021 provincial license is expired and you will need a new one.
