Default Brisket on Sale at Sobeys

I was just at Sobey's in the north end of Calgary. They have Beef Brisket (Very large) on sale for $5.99 lb. The one on top was 25 lbs for $75.00. Pretty good price.

Odd. Strips and Ribs I got last summer were awesome. Never grabbed a sirloin though. Costco tenderizes their steaks so imagine cutting some of that connective tissue would slow the shrinkage.

I think you mis-read it
The sirloin is what shrunk from wholesalers

The rib eyes we get from Costco are awesome!

Sorry I may have been confusing. I got strips and ribs from wholesale club last year with no issues. I never got the sirloin though.

I was in there yesterday and I didn’t get an extra 10% off of the box of wine I bought on sale as far as I know.

Default 25L Scepter Jerry Cans

Jerry cans seem to have disappeared like a*#wipe recently. Found the taller 25L Scepter jerry cans on sale @ Costco.ca last night. $36 for a 2pk delivered by UPS!! These are normally $25 each @ CT and are sold out everywhere it seems. They are on backorder but it says due in today......

At the leading edge of the pandemic those were in stock at my Costco for $25.99 for the two pack. Obviously those sold out.

The price at costo.ca includes shipping so is usually higher than the price at the warehouse. $10 to ship 2 25l jerry cans doesn't seem unreasonable.

Thanks for the share, my wife and I just went in to the south Calgary location and stocked up. I'd never once been in there, which is somewhat funny considering that my old workplace and my current wholesalers are very close to it and I'd been driving past it almost daily for literally decades. We'll definitely be returning as they had some good pricing. Went in for $35 of butter, left $240 lighter.
