Threads like this are why I'm still coming back to AO in 2021. This is inspirational and educational material. I'm getting ready to pull my next mule buck tag soon, and I would feel lucky if I could pull off something like this. Your diligence was justly rewarded. Thank you for sharing your story and technique.

I am not a hunter, I would like to someday but for now just not feasible but I for sure really enjoyed that story man!!

I hope to read one just like it about bow season next year from you!!

And the final update to the story.. my taxidermist had my deer ready this last week, I went and picked him up this weekend and spent some time taking a few field pictures with the mount. Couldn’t be happier with how he turned out!





Now looking forward to seeing this buck up on the wall and turning my attention towards this season.
