Default Fur Mitts

Anyone have contacts or leads on where I could get a pair of super warm fur mitts custom made?

Looking online is a waste of time -- I'm looking for a handmade, personal touch kind of place. Beaver, Coyote, etc...with a super warm lining.

See them on the hunting shows once in a while, and that's what I want for the long November sits.

PM if you have any leads, many thanks.
Fwee

That would be coy coyote, here is the link to his buy&sell ad:

IIRC he works with all furs, subject to availability.

Would love to help you out. I do have a good fur supplier, and a handle on some sheep shearling for a liner..

Nice looking mitts! Are the second ones from coyote? Looks like you have used a whole pelt for each.

Can you post some additional pictures of them? I'd like to see the palm, length of the cuff, stitching. Thank you in advance!

These are the same as the coyote mitts. There's no visible stitch. The lenght is customer preference.

Do you only make gloves or by chance do you dabble in fur hats as well?

Thank you for the pictures! What kind of liner do you use? Are your hats lined with fur too or just the exterior?

Hats have a pile liner and fur on the outside. I use a real shearling liner or a synthetic wool liner in the mitts customer preference and I've had good success and results with the synthetic wool liner. A bit lighter in weight. A wool shearling is starting to get costly and almost not worth using because of the cost .

We re in the process of setting one up. Most of my gloves and mitts are list in the miscellaneous buy and sell on this site. But if you have any questions or special request . Give me a shout I'd be happy to work something out or building something special.
