In 2015, 13,357 Wildlife Certificates were purchased by female hunters in Alberta, for a total of 10.12% of the Wildlife Certificates purchased.
In 2020, 23,031 Wildlife Certificates were purchased by female hunters in Alberta, for a total of 14.69% of the Wildlife Certificates purchased.
In just five years, the number of female hunters in Alberta has increased by nearly 10,000!
We would like to recognize this important hunting demographic and acknowledge female hunters in Alberta by highlighting a female hunter(s) on the cover of the 2021 Alberta Guide to Hunting Regulations. Send us your best photo of an adult female enjoying the hunting experience, and she could grace the cover of Alberta’s hunting regulations in 2021.
