Yeb that is funny.:rollin As for finding antlers, I have never tried to do that, as I don't have the time nor the resorces to do that sort of thing. Yet it can be a great tool in helping someone find a nice buck. So I have been told. Now I will do some scouting this coming June and July and part of Aug.. but maybe only two times per month and that close to home. Maybe two times, maybe only two times period.

Varmintr, it's an even 10 x 10 , each tine being 6' long.
The main beams are a fairly even 12', with 15" drop eaves on each side. The inside spread is about 8'.
Overall, it is fairly even so there should be a minimum of deductions.

Oh yeah, also, there seems to be a lot of junk hanging on the tines inside.

I'm up to around 20 sheds this year picked up first muley horns of the year on monday thought it was just one dropping really early but picked up 5 more on thurs so I guess there starting to let them go, was out with buddy Dan from ponoka you know him varmitr hes picked up around 60 now so their out there we did see bout 9 whitetails and most of the muleys that where still packing. North country is screwed drove up to athabasca country last week and deer werent even coming outta the bush so will make for some hard horn hunting up that way.

Chris, I was wondering when you were going. It sounds like you didn't find any. Snow to deep? I want to go up north as soon as the snow gets melted down a bit. I was out the other day and found 7 in 2 out of the 3 spots I went into. 2 matched sets out of it but nothing that would score much over 150 and that would be pushing it. I have to figure out how to sell them on e-bay. They are going for a pretty good price these days

Is there money in selling shed antlers? I have come across them the odd time fishing/camping and never thought of picking them up to sell. Im going to be spending some serious time in the bush this spring/summer, maybe I will run across some good ones.

no phil we picked up 18 last week all east though none north, we got beat to some barley swaths where the guys picked up a bunch in, thats what you get for being greedy and letting it build up but thursday afternoon we found 3 fields with 100-150+ deer going to them so should have another day or so worth of sledding.

Murrlin I don't know if there is money in it but I believe AFGA takes antlers. Also some people take antlers and make pens out of the tines. I gave mine to a fellow who makes these pens, and they are a fine looking pen.
