That would sting for a while....I know the hard hard feeling myself.
Sheep and archery can sure bring on some interesting times for sure. My 410 hunt was a mix of highs and lows and a ton of work mixed with emotion and learning!

I know 4 tags for sure weren't filled! , 2 weren't even attempted....not sure about the others.
Riel's/ our buddy, hunted hard. He was even up there with a shattered ankle on cortisone shots trying to make the dream happen. It sounded like he Went through he'll, deserved a good ram . Still sounds like a pretty amazing hunt......cant wait to see the pics and hear all the details.....great work R!

My buddy did not get his Ram this time. We saw lots of sheep, and a couple of great rams .. His ankle blew out early in the hunt, and even with a shot of cortisone, haft way through the hunt, he could not seal the deal. We had a great hunt none the less. Saw all kinds of great game, big moose, lots of elk, couple of nice whitetails too, and yes lots of sheep. Sitting up on a mountain with my two favorite hunting buddies, watching sheep run around banging heads is too cool. The sheep on Allen where really spooky to get into range. With a gun he would have tagged out early. But bow range is a lot more challenging, and just didn't happen. Next time, maybe next year. Oh! did I mention the weather, wind, rain, snow,-27, wind, LOL.
