Default Montana hunting

my buddy and I are considering heading into Montana next fall for some pheasant hunting. Wondering if somebody could tell me, or at least point me in the right direction as to the requirements for a canadian to hunt there? Firearms regulations, travelling with the dog across the border, licenses, hunting regulatiosn, etc. Basically trying to get the ball rolling and cover all the bases.

Thanks.

you will need to get your licence first then applyto ATF to get your guns approved to get them across...it takes awhile...go on line for ATF info......
