Default Hunting Boot Recommedations Required

I am wondering if anyone can recommend a good hunting boot that can be used for both walking and sitting for extended periods in cold weather?

When still hunting, I currently wear insulated rubber boots. These boots are great for walking in however my feet sweat heavily causing my feet to freeze if I remain stationary for any length of time. For stand hunting I have an excellent set of pack boots however these boots are too large and clumsy to walk any distance in.

Any hunting boot recommendations?

Schnees Pac Boots are pretty hard to beat from what I've seen this year.

My wife wore a pair this season and I'll probably buy a pair for next year.

Kentrek makes a pac boot as well and are a great boot.

Thanks all...

Does anyone in the Calgary area carry Schnees or Kentrek boots? If not, where can they be located?

Cowboy country clothing in Nanton carry's them.

I might suggest a Rocky boot with the 1000 or 1200 gram thinsulate. I've had mine for 5 years now and they've held phenomenally. Paid 160 for them.

I also have a pair of Kenetreks that I use for winter riding and they are pretty warm, but a bit bulky for walking around in.

I have a pair of these.

Best boots ever. Being a tall guy, I have always had poor circulation to my feet, so this boot and the heating system is great. I get about 8 hrs on the low setting, but even with the heat off, my feet are nice and toasty.

Campers Village carries them, Wholesale sports only has the Camo ones.
