Where to buy longbow string?

I bought a checkmate long bow a while back.

I bought everything through my father who lives out on Vancouver island.

I tore the loop stringing the bow last week and need a new string.

So I'm looking for where in alberta is the best place to purchase a new Flemish fast flight 58" string and other traditional bow items when needed.

You can go to the calgary archery centre in calgary or give dennis at git r done archery a shout. And if you want to meet other traditional hunters there's the alberta traditional bow hunters association. There's tradgang for an online forum dedicated to our type of archery although it's somewhat of a gimpy place. And finally if you want to order stuff online look at three rivers archery,nthey have a great selection.

Something else, strings don't normally snap so check your string mocks and make sure there's no rough or sharp edges there.
