I should also specify, I'm headed out to lake Isle for my first time there, so if there is a gas station out there that might have some that anyone might know about, we could pick some up on our way out too.

Thanks

If I remember correctly, on hwy 16A halfway through Spruce Grove... there is a Husky on the south side of the road, that sells smelts, minnows, maggotss etc etc.

I also believe there is Beach |corner store that sells bait further down well before the hwy16/hwy16A junction... on the right hand side.

I used to always go to the Husky in Spruce grove before i headed out to Pigeon/Gull/ Wabamun etc before I picked up a buddy in Stony Plain.

Default Bait

I have not checked lately but most of the Mohawks gas stations used to carry bait as well.

Husky on 66 st and 132 ave usually has bait. I would not take the chance that Beach corner has any in stock as we have burned ourselves before by taking that chance.

Thanks for all the help folks. I managed to get ahold of some minnows, mealworms at the husky station off 118th and picked up some artificial maggots at wall mart. I'll try the stations along 16 on my way out in the morning for some real maggots. Hope this wind and snow dies down and the fishing is good tomorrow. First hard water trip of the year and cant wait.
Again, thanks for the help and tight lines to you all.
