Default Dried meat lake by hwy 56

Has anyone here ever fished driedmeat lake in the winter an come in from the highway 56 near the bridge.

i wouldnt drive on from there thats right where the river starts up again...the ice is usually pretty thin around rivers???

Default Access from bridge

I was thinking of Parking by the new spill way and come in off the. Shore about a hundred yards to the west or try to find a parking spot an go from there but I prefer to walk out

was there the other day with a bunch of friends, about 8:30 am to 3:00. Never even seen a fish. Guy I work with lives there and said it winterkilled bad 2 or 3 years ago. It was a total bust for us. Let me know how you make out.

we go on right in the village and fish about 1km north in 7ft of water and do great
