I just got back from fishing two days at Buck. Very slow. Saturday was a wash and today I caught 8 walleye. 1 keeper size but released. I fished the west side of the lake 3 miles north of the town site.
If it is really hot and sunny the walleye will be at 30 feet during the day. 20 yards in front of the weed beds later in the day. Lead head jig, no rubber body, and a worm worked the best this time. If you are going to use minnows use 2 inch size on a lead head.
The fishing was slower than usual. But still fish to be caught.
