Default Daily Fishing Stories Thread

Hi all,

I figured it would be convenient to make a thread where we can all post fishing stories from our day (or from whenever for that matter). I often have interesting little stories from my outings that I don't feel are worth a thread. Hopefully it catches on.

This evening, I hit Crawling Valley for a few hours. Noticed a guy trying to keep a walleye. After informing him there is a zero retention on walleye, he told me it was a pike (there's zero retention for pike as well ) After some firm words, he threw it back.

Not five minutes later, the fish God's smiled upon me and my slip bobber was getting ripped under the surface of the water, left, front, and centre. Fun way to end a night!
