Was wondering if it's worth a scouting trip for bears

I have seen a young blonde kicking around my plant in 330 and now seen 8 others all smaller and one decent probably 6 footer

Just back from west of Sundre, dryer than a popcorn fart, no snow, very little trace of green, west of Rocky probably the same.

They are out up the trunk road. Haven't seen any large bears yet, just little gaffers digging up roots

When the flys come out you can bet the bears are out also, then if you check along lease roads for the segmented type of weed grows somewhat like a asperagus then you know they are out also.

The dandelions are starting to come out. With the warm weather coming up there should be a good hatch of yellow flowers.

Actually saw TWO the other day, looked like it was a struggle.

Heading out to 330 tomorrow to pick up my ladder stand. Any suggestions as to where to maybe look for a bear while we are out there? Not looking for a giant at all, just something to get the blood flowing and maybe do a little stalk on.

Thank you.

Getting really green in some ditches in 330. Saw a little pinner bear. He hid in a culvert.
Baits going out tomo. Good luck everyone.
