Best Hike-in lakes

Looking to find some new spots to fish, anyone have any good hike-in lakes in mind, Driving from Olds area

Quite a few lakes to hike to in Kananaskis.... what part of the province are you looking at trying? Are you talking day trips or overnighters? There are a few good hike in lakes in the Castle / Beaver Mines area in southern Alberta too, but obviously a bit far if you're from Olds, unless you're camping.

We do a lot of camping so kinda looking for day trips close to camping. kananaskis is always nice to do too but its a bit of a drive as well. west of sundre/caroline/water valley area would be ideal.

Hi Edwards Im also from Olds. Most of the good hike in lakes are in the mountains so Kananaskis or Spray areas would be closest. The only ones I can think of where there is a bit of a hike in would be Tay lake west of Caroline, and a bit further is Eagle lake out in YaHa Tinda. Lots of rivers to hike west,north and south of us though.

Do you know the name of the lake past eagle lake?
