I'd prefer to see more walleye stocking here than bass stocking. I've caught a few smallmouth bass and as much fun as they are to catch, the taste of them leave something to be desired, (to me anyways), but if I fillet them same as a walleye, I do get rid of most of the bones.

Default BASS in BC

Well, the BASS in BC have been illegally dumped and are, can cause havoc in our water systems. Around the lower mainland, growing up fishing the fraser and waterways such as the Pitt system, Burnet , there was zero sign of these fish. Now Largemouth, small, even crappie are common. The individuals who stocked these (Probably over a decade now) should be banned from fishing for LIFE.

In the Kamloops region we have an excellent biologist, hes one of the best I have ever had the chance to talk with. If he found fish in his freshwaters he would kill the whole lake and start from scratch. The Lower Mainland issue was that they never addressed the situation until it was a problem.
