They only have 4 ft sides available. There seems be a real lack if gear available everywhere and nobody knows when more gear coming. But the local store up here has these grizzly wall tents and they are cheap.

I've got one. Its good! The waterproof treatment they use really stinks and takes a long time to air it out. But so far its a decent tent for the price. I don't find the 4 foot walls to be a problem.

4' walls really depends on how you use the tent. If you put your cots right against the wall you will find it pretty tight, especially if you are taller than 5' 8" and or a bigger guy. If you want to use bunk beds then the 4' wall is not going to make you happy at all. If you use air mattress on the ground or the real low cots then the 4' wall is not near as big an issue.

I have owned 4 and 5' walled tents, I even had one that was 5 1/2 foot walls. Taller wall is better, especially if you have more than a couple of guys in the tent, and the reduction in roof slope was never an issue. Even in heavy snow it was not an issue as we used tarps over the tens anyhow. You will have a harder time selling short sidewall tents but if it is cheap enough and you can't get anything else you might as well give it a try.

Never owned Grizzly brand so can't help there.

I’ve believe they are not a double fill canvas. You get what you pay for. I don’t believe the 4’walls are a limiting factor.

Default tent

Add a foot and a half to the bottom edges if you "need" 5 ft walls.

That is a heck of a lot of work unless you have the right machines. I have hand sewn stove Jack's using a threaded all and that is a couple of hours work. Adding a complete skirt would take at least a day, maybe two, by hand.
