The south Calgary location of Real Canadian Wholesale Club has some very inexpensive bacon. Carvers Choice thick cut bacon is only 5.99/kg! We bought two on Sat, only getting two that trip in case it sucked. It was perfectly normal bacon when we cooked some up so I returned for more, only thing is some of it is crooked or flipped over in the package so it doesn't look visually perfect. Tasted fine, salty but normally so, not excessively; just plain old bacon. It was in the discount bins in the back of the meat & dairy cooler. I have no idea whatsoever if other locations also have it at that price. Scratch & dent bacon for the win!!

While out searching for RV battery's.

Sherwood Park Costco. Saw non at Manning or St Albert locations.

Cold Water Canyon Day packs. $34.99 Reg 49.99

https://www.costco.ca/hunting.html?r...2BCanyon%2522|

Seems not too bad Well padded has a waist strap {Thin} Upper chest strap sewed on too high rides across throat level on me when pack rigged to clear fanny pack.
If zippers last good for short hikes with days worth of coffee and supplies to stand/blind.

Update to above.
Looking at pack with ore light found out the top strap is on a slide can be moved lower Much better
Pack has expansion straps could carry boned out meat from non trophy sheep sized animal in a pinch.

If you guys want to debate tires, start a new thread or join one of the many existing tire threads. There are lots of opportunities for other threads. This thread had lasted a long time posting good deals people find and I would really like it if it doesn't get side tracked and screwed up with derails. No reply required, thanks.

Paradon packable jackets at costco again for $50. I have a kuiu that's the same style and weight. Paradon is much more windproof and not that ugly camo colour Can't remember what I paid for the kuiu but I'm sure the price difference is significant.
Awesome coats to throw in your pack. Grabbed another one yesterday actually

They are really great, but do not come close to the camp fire wearing one! I think I have half a dozen of them now, with spots burnt from the flying sparkles....

What size did you buy and are they load rating E 10 ply. Whenever I search on CT app none of the stores in Edmonton area have the size I’m looking for 275/65/R20.

I am old school. 235x85x16 E10. My truck spends 80 percent of it's time off pavement. I want height and bite. If I had 20s on an offroad rig I would get different rims in as low as I could get like 16 or 17 if possible. You can't get tires wide enough to provide true flotation on a 2500 so the best u can hope for is enough height.

For people in Edmonton and Calgary: the Highlander Liqour store has a specials all the time, sign up for their emails and they will be sending you the offers that are super good. Anything from the wines to high end liquor. It takes about a week to get the order to Edmonton Highlander store... They are right next to the Italian Store on a west end, across the WEM.

No Frills has Picnics on for .97 cents this week. And when I popped in there this morning they were discounting any cryovac packages that were slightly loose or blown by 30%
So in the end .68 cents a lb
Grabbed 20 plus pounds for under $14
