Anyone have any experience with Hornady Superformance 25-06 117gr SST? How did they perform on deer possibly elk sized animals? I realize the 25-06 is a little light for elk but on some of my backcountry mule deer hunts it may be what I've got with me.
That's all I ever shot out of my 25-06, they shot and performed great, killed lots of deer with them, and wouldn't have hesitated to kill a elk or moose with them. Good luck!
