I think Hollywood also had an impact on the rising popularity of lever guns. Wind River and Jurassic park drove prices up prior to Covid and Remingtons bankruptcy. Companies responded with special editions like the Marlin Dark Series or the TRex editions.

I’ve always loved lever guns. Never had enough of them and now probably never will due to price. I’d always yes take a Marlin over a Winchester and a Winchester over anything else for a quality gun. I’ve contemplated a Rossi but they’re up there price wise with Marlin and Winchester now.

Default Savage 340

Even the good ole savage model 340 bolt action 30-30’s have doubled in price!

These were your alternative to using Spire point projectiles until Hornady appeased to shooters wanting to stretch their range with the FTX.

Rossi levers are gaining popularity and competing well with other manufacturers. Prices along with others are thru the roof!

Hi Dean, no I have not settled yet, I think I will wait for the new Rugers/Marlins to show up. For The price of used levers I want to see what the new ones will cost and maybe the used market will come down.
