Default Roughnecks win NLL Championship

What a game. OT winner

Buffalo goes up one in the last minute. Calgary ties with seconds on the clock.

Sweep by the Roughnecks in the final

Well done !!!!

Any lacrosse fans here, or just hunters?

Cousin plays for Philly so switched teams. Catch some games when he’s in town playing. Must say so those boys are in shape and play for the right reasons. Besides the top 2-3 players in the league they don’t make much.

Default Good game!

The last two rounds of playoffs made for some great lacrosse. That game last night was a nail biter and the atmosphere in the dome was awesome. My ears are still ringing.

The boys really pulled together and earned that championship!

Was there this weekend, fantastic game, great atmosphere. Really wish Lacross was more popular.. its too bad we are too obsessed with hockey to care. All the players are normal guys and average salary's are 10-25k a year.

Congrats to the Roughnecks....Wowwwww

You see, the Saddledome IS big enough for a championship team, and 17,000+ fans.

I suppose the Flames will start winning championships when they get their bigger and better arena......

I don't think anyone wants a new rink for more capacity. Just saying...

The Dome is a outdated hole.
Love it, loads of memories but the same can be said for the outhouse that fell down at our hunting camp. Sometimes you have to move forward.

I do hope they have some extra capacity in the new building. Tickets are hard enough to get right now.
A new stadium will not help or hurt a championship team. Edmonton proved that.

I couldn't find it on TV. Was it broadcast?

It was only available on Bleacher Report Live or on the B/R app. Considering lacrosse is Canada’s national (summer) sport, TSN or one of the other networks could televise the playoffs at the very least.

Lacrosse is a fantastic sport, I don't know why its not more popular (baseball is such a bore for the kids once they try lax)!

Thanks 58 for your help with the Lakeland back in the day, I've got a peewee and bantam playing for the Heat in Bonnyville!

I recall years ago them making a run or perhaps winning it. That game was on TV. No idea why this wasn't put on. Really silly TBH. Seems everything is broadcast these days.

Two years ago, TSN televised all Toronto Rock games. Now none.
