Default Masks

Anyone else notice that the Tim cup has been replaced as the number one piece of litter in the ditches. Stopped at a pullout south of red deer and half a dozen masks on the ground. Some within feet of the garbage cans. Come on people!

House next to us turned into a rental, and the occupants work at the dairy queen..so they use a ton of masks that end up on our lawn. We pick up garbage weekly, its pretty gross.

I'm seeing tons of masks at my fishing spots and parking areas now. Have to dedicate a day to cleaning all of it up one of these days.

I guess its humans that are the invasive species on earth haha

I haven't seen it really bad anywhere but I don't make it to town often.

Found one in my yard just off the road the other day. I live over a quarter mile from the nearest anything. SMH. People are slobs.

I’ve yet to encounter a discarded mask.

Empty alcoholic beverages all over my country road is another story.

Yes Mike I have seen the same thing, but if we can save just one life isn't it worth it.

This mask thing reminds me of the pied piper story.
Somebody pipes a melody and all the sheeple/rats/children follow.

Jayhad I agree that lives are important but how hard is it to put your mask in the garbage. But then I suppose all those that are hiding out in the West Country to get away from the covid and are just leaving all their garbage behind is just the cost we should deal with to save lives.

Sorry Mike, I was trying to be sarcastic in my agreement with you. I have a bus stop in front of my place it seems every Tom, Dick and Harry drop the mask as soon as they leave the bus.

No problem Jay. I feel for you. Makes me wonder what these people would do if you followed them home and dumped your garbage can on their doorstep.

The trash is people being pig a problem, not a mask problem. Like you, I play my part of carrying a plastic shopping bag and clean up the hundreds of yards of old fishing line and trash around where I fish, as well......

You'll never fix ignorant.

Nor the misuse of the word.

Went to town yesterday, my impression is, people are getting sick and tired of all that conflicting information we're being fed and acting accordingly. COSTCO, mask compulsory ? Not so. Wall Mart as of Aug. 12 ? , not so . Surprising how many are wearing masks improperly and one can only conclude that they wear a mask only because it's expected.
