Saw the email. Sure wish they'd open it up to online orders as well, considering the current climate.

Going to try get there tomorrow. They really struggle with anything related to online. Website is brutal

Does anyone know what the Fishin holes sale looks like? It would be nice if they actually listed what's on sale on there website. It would suck to drive for 2 hours to find out that nothing I'm looking for is actually on sale.

They have a bad web site and I’m sure they lose a ton of business to Cabelas. I know 2 guys going today. With covid you better have a top notch website or you are done and offer curbside pickup for people that want that service

Same here. If I knew the prices then a drive to the city might be in order. Not knowing the prices and not knowing how long one might have to line up for (or not) to get in the drive is not worth it.

Exactly! I have got to come from Lethbridge. Not going to make the 2.5 hour drive for fun.

Yep. Went to South Edmonton store. Boxing day sale only applies to what is in stock, in-store. This is a company doing it wrong during the worst year, to do it wrong. Love the Fishin hole but this is idiocy.

TFH had a pretty good sale around Black Friday. I think they are starting to focus on that more than Boxing Day. Easier to staff and get the pre Christmas shoppers.

What is it with fishing retailers having horrible sites? I have yet to find a fly shop or general fishing store with an easy to use online store. TFH has lost a ton of my business to Cabela's due to the simple fact that I do 90% of my shopping online.

Agree. I know for a fact they are losing sales by not updating their website. Hope they stick around since I buy lots of stuff there

There are a few good fly shops around with very easy online buying, Canadian Llama is one.

I am sure it is a temporary glitch but I did find it humorous that the site you say is good for online shopping isn't working right now. Getting a 403 forbidden error.
