Oh well
Next time
Any Idea for location, I recently ate at Original Joes on fourth as well as Joyces on Fourth both were good But Original Joes is the best.

Well, I'm not dead, just felt like it for a week with flu and bronchitis.
For the next get-together, how's about Saturday April 4th? I apologize profusely to the guys that tried showing up to the last one and found Halo instead of the Bull & Finch. Bad organization on my part. The few of us that did make it had a good time at Boston Pizza down the road. I left a message with the hostess at Halo, that if anyone came asking for the Alberta Outdoorsmen group, to send them to the BP's. Guess that didn't work. As most BP's have a lounge and restaurant, I was thinking maybe the next one we could meet closer to the North at a BP's for you Northern guys / gals.
I would say next Saturday, but I have my kids and haven't seen them in awhile, so if anyone wants to meet again sooner, have at er.
Any suggestions on a BP's with lounge, let us know.
Doug

Well, I'll be out of the country on the 4th but would be open to something after that. I live in the south end myself, but have wheels.
Whatever works out for you all.

I believe the 4th of April is fine for me, but I will confirm. There is a BP's Lounge in the Crowfoot district of the North, as well as by the Dalhousie train station. There should be one on 17th Avenue as well, that is fairly central.

Should be OK
I'll try to make it, 99% sure I'm open. I assume that we'll have some sort of reservation/tables set aside.
Thanks for the effort Doug, it looks like it's paying off.
See you folks then

I'm going to book tables in the lounge. Just waiting for word back from more people to see how many we need room for. I sent PM's out to all on this thread, so we should have a better turnout. Not that everyone will be able to make it, but I think the count is up to 24 of us now.

Hey Guys.
I think this is a great idea. Please let me know when you all are going to meet in the south again.
I just thought I would throw this out as it was mentioned by another Calgary area resident.
Please advise if you all might be interested in day shooting clays at the AHEIA gun club.
If you dont have a shotgun .. Dont worry about it. They have lots of Rentals ($5)
If you dont know how, I can get some teachers
They have Shells.. Ears, Eyes.. What ever you need.
Since I am a member we dont have to abide by the posted "Public" times
Let me know and I will set it up
Thanks
Jamie

Jamie,
i would be up for that in a heart beat, tough to beat a day of trying to bust clays, even if I suck at it
That is a great facility, would be cool to get 10 or 12 guys do a couple rounds of skeet, trap and a go at the duck tower then fire up a bbq with burger!?!
Great way to shake off spring fever!

Yes its an excellent facility - lots of fun!
Also, I would love to come out to BP's on the 4th - I live in the south but don't mind driving! I work until 6pm but as far as I know nothing going on after that, so I will double check and let you know

This is a great idea. One suggestion I would have is to give more then a weeks notice, I've wanted to make these just not enough notice for me, or maybe I just haven't read the thread soon enough.
