There is a little tab looking thing with a slot right behind the hammer- turn it to either stop, eject the case right or left!!

Now to go out and see what it will do? Good I hope! Got a deal on a set of RCBS Dies and some factory ammo. So will use them for brass for reloading!

Suggest not to try to adjust trigger as you can’t get much better than the factory setting . I have spent many hours fussing with those after guys try and get themselves in trouble with them . They are not your basic trigger and really should be messed with.

This is the one big bugaboo with the B78 and newer 1885's- if you get one with a good trigger, great.
If it is fairly hefty, no amount of messing round will fix it!
My son's is pretty good, my last two wildcats were " not bad", my new 1885 is not the best but I can live with it.

Took my B78 in .243 to my Smiths here, had the length of pull shortened and a nicer recoil pad installed and trigger work its now about 2.5lbs... so much fun to shoot. 25-06 nice...

Nice selection of B78s and 85s Cat thanks for sharing, such nice rifles!

Are trigger upgrade options available?

The last one is my latest in .260 Remington , 26" with Ron Smith's favorite taper for a hunting rifle .
All barrels are built by Ron Smith with gain twist , and Ron chambered the last one .
The others had the barrel work done the great 'smith Mick McPhee who has since gone to quieter ranges .
All were- are super accurate as well

Looking for a little advice in the swivels? I picked up a pair, but they don't fit the slots on the rifle! so I guess I have to file them down a little?

Filing will work. Do equal amounts on both sides
