Let your bait run dry for a couple of days. Fill it again with a little bit and let it run dry again. The bigger bear will come in during the day to keep other bears away from the bait if the food source is depleting fast.

Congratulations Marlin!
Do you have any more pics? I don't think those ones do it justice.

I'm assuming the video that was posted with a title saying "BC book bear".

Well now I have to go watch it again.
.... Yup, totally missed it. I think a case of young enthusiasm...
Can't believe people dissect stuff that much?
Oh well, books are for stories and that's a nice bear.

Nothing big enough has showed up yet...but always fun to pick up the SD card and see if anything of interest has moved into the area. There are least a dozen different bears on this bait...probably more. I can identify 7 different coloured bears and at least 5 blacks (those black ones are hard to differentiate so there might be more than that)

Very cool colours! Would be awesome to see one of those light cubs make adulthood.

Awesome pics north buck!!! I sure like that bear on the second picture lol. I saw a bear last year same color as one of the cubs in pic 4,but just a tiny little fella. My guess he was on his first year being alone.

We had our first visitor to the bait tonight. Decent sized black.
That warm weekend we had really woke them up.

Yeah, the one cub is so light...it looks strange coming through the woods. Even his claws are almost white. I have seen quite a few younger ones this colour over the years...but with age, they tend to darken a bit.
