As I sit, drinking coffee, watching the clock, waiting for the season to begin. Man time can go slow!

I know what you mean I am doing pretty much the same thing. But almost time to go and get coffees and pick up my partner for the day

Staring down a rifle barrel
Silently, with baited breath,
I wait to bring him sudden death
With every hour, the time draws near
To pack my freezer full of deer.

Didn't get out today -- meetings. Have the week off, though. Good luck all.

I can never sleep on the eve of hunting season.

Sitting on the deck with a coffee in the dark......yup, every year I do that.

And here I sit, on opening day, with a cold! No point in hunting for a while as I'd be scaring anything within a mile radius with my honking and blowing.

i dont get to excited usually see the big bucks the last couple weeks of season
