Default BC border

So I live near the BC border and hunt near it. How does one determine how close you are to the border. Do you hunt right up to the border wherever it is? What happens if you shoot something and it runs across the border? Do you just leave it, or go get it??

If you hunt in Alberta then you must retrieve the animal.
But. Check with the f+w in your area.
I bet they have encountered the question before.

Why not buy a gps? Backroad maps makes a good sd card with the answers to your question. I know they make one for Alberta and BC . Invest in a gps that can read the sd card and know where your hunting. I only bought the sd card with only one province, I should have got the one that has both provinces.

I hunt a lot by park boarders, I use my gps to keep me safe
I know a animal has to be 400 yards from the board of the park to shoot
If it runs into the park you need a CO to recover it.
