6 dogs down
Was out bowhunting moose yesterday with a friend, and decided to take a break from moose to call dogs. We ended up calling 7 coyotes in, including a triple that we got 2 from, 6 coyotes that won't be bothering the deer this winter. Man I love killin' dogs.

There's a lot of dogs in the cold lake area this year! Places where I've tried to locate them before have numerous coyotes now. It's crazy! Yesterday was a good for us, as we called in 6 in two spots but only managed to get two. Dang scope was on 14 power! But lots of coyotes around! Good job on nailing them, there's too many of em!

Sweet! Keep deflating those coyotes.

We were using 270 WSM's, pretty hard on the pelts but that's OK. Called them in with the foxpro using rabbit distress, and they all came on the run within 5 minutes of the start of each calling sequence. MD of Bonnyville has the bounty on again this year $15 for coyotes $75 for wolves, not a bad way to pay for gas.

Good shooting!
I had the Argo out for a spin today and was 30km out in the middle of nowhere when a Coyote came out on the trail in front of me. I bailed out of the Argo and loaded the gun up half expecting the thing to be running for the hills. 50ft away and the bloody thing just sat down in the middle of the trail and looked at me. I watched it for a couple minutes then it just wandered off the road.
Smartest thing that he could have done, just sitting down like a pet. I must be getting soft.

Is there still a bounty on them? Just wondering as casing them isn't easy for me, personally.
Nice work! great pics. Less coyotes eating my snow shoe bunnies is good.

Yeah the bounty is still on. The biggest dog weighed out at 43 Lbs. No shortage of Coy dogs out here or in most areas of the province.
